Welcome Letter

Dear Island Creek Family,

Greetings fellow CROCS!  On behalf of the Island Creek Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (ICES PTA) Board, I would like to extend a warm welcome to new and returning families.  We look forward to partnering with you as we work to serve our school and community during the 2019-2020 school year.

My name is Richard Aviles.  I’m a military officer and attorney.  My wife and I have two daughters.  Our oldest daughter, Isabella, is starting kindergarten this fall.  I’m honored to serve this year on the PTA board as President.

The purpose of the PTA is to support the faculty, staff, parents, and most especially our children of ICES.  With that in mind, your PTA is busy this summer, fine-tuning programs and activities that will make this a fantastic year for our children, teachers and staff!  However, we cannot do it alone.  We will once again ask for your support so that we can continue making great strides that benefit our children and amazing school staff.  Your ideas, your time, your talents and simply your voice is truly needed.  The PTA is absolutely a team effort that starts with each of you.  Whatever level of participation you select, your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

Stay connected with all the latest information regarding activities, events and news by continuing to check our website and following us on Facebook.  And please feel free to contact us durectly if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your support,

Richard Aviles

ICES PTA President
