Beginning on October 21, FCPS will be asking all families to fill out a Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid. Returning this form is important because information from this survey results in an anticipated $3 million dollars in grant funds each year from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers. For each school-aged child in your household, please complete, sign, date, and return the survey to your child’s school. If sections 1 and 2 of the survey do not apply to you, just check the box in Section 3. All forms must be signed, dated, and returned by October 30. All results are CONFIDENTIAL.

Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to help Island Creek Elementary School PTA earn cash! Last school year, we earned over $3,000. Every grade level, PreK-6th, received support. This school year, our school’s earning goal will remain $3,000.

All labels can be sent in together and we will take care of the sorting and counting. When we work together, we can make a difference!

The Purpose of the PTA is to support the faculty, staff, programs, and most importantly our students. every child. one voice. Join us as we work towards this goal for our school. The PTA is only as strong as its volunteers and we need your help! Monday, April 30: WAKE UP! Show how much you appreciate your teacher by wearing his/her favorite color.
Tuesday, May 1: POP UP! “Treat” your teacher(s)/staff members’ with their favorite treat, snack or beverage.
Wednesday, May 2: STOCK UP! Show your appreciation by bringing your teacher(s)/staff members’ needed or favorite school supplies.
Thursday, May 3: FILL UP! Express thanks by bringing your teacher(s)/staff member a gift and/or make a special homemade card.
Friday, May 4: GIDDY UP! Show your appreciation by wearing school colors and/or ICE spirit wear!
